With over 20 years experience in the Film, Television and Video industry, DV2Broadcast offers a wide range of video services to customers throughout the region. Founded in 1993, their main base is in Salford Quays (Manchester), not far from the new BBC/MediaCity development. Working to broadcast standards without broadcast budgets, DV2Broadcast offers high-quality audio and video production services to businesses and individuals. In-house facilities include a small shooting area with lighting and optional green-screen background, together with a video editing and audio dubbing area.
The man behind the company is Martin Kay, who previously worked for Granada TV for 20 years. Since then, he has also worked extensively with computers, so is well placed to understand how to get the best out of computer-based video at every stage of the production process. The company produces various types of videos for promotional use. Examples include:- Showreels for actors and performers, coverage of live music and comedy gigs, interviews and testamonials, presentations and lectures, charity appeals, training films, dramatised reconstructions, etc.
